Chef Ming Tsai in the O.C.

Hey fellow foodies! Do you have anything planned next Friday night, November 12, 2010? Want to meet a possible Iron Chef?

On Friday , November 12 at 6:30PM, Macy's Culinary Council Chef Ming Tsai will demonstrate “East Meets West Cooking” at Macy’s South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa. You may have seen Ming on his public television series "Simply Ming" or read one of his cookbooks Blue Ginger, Simply Ming One Pot Meals: Quick, Healthy and Affordable Recipes, and Ming’s Master Recipes. He's also currently competing to become the Next Iron Chef on the Food Network TV show!


At Friday's event, Ming will work his magic in the Macy's kitchen and share crowd-pleasing recipes that can be cooked in minutes. Following the demonstration, Chef Tsai will sign copies of his aforementioned cookbooks which will be available for purchase the day of the event and mingle with shoppers.

RSVP:
Admission is $5, which will be donated to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County. No reservations are required, but seating will be held on a first-come, first-served basis. Seating is limited to 200.
