Wow, another wonderful year has passed and a new year is upon us. 2011 is almost here and I still can't get over how fast this year has flown by. Tonight I'll be celebrating New Years Eve with some close friends and having a wonderful time like eating some tasty treats, or toasting to some bubbly, and salsa dancing the night away. As we say goodbye to 2010 and welcome the new year, I would like to recap the year with some of my favorite recipes.
Best Enchiladas:
Chicken Enchiladas - I'm still drooling over these beauties. I might have to make these soon because it's been awhile.
Best Trader-Joe's Recipe:
Buffalo Chicken Soup - A great winter soup and so easy to prepare.
Best Anniversary Dinner:
Boeuf Bourguignon - Definitely a wonderful meal to be shared with your loved one.
Best Cheesecake:
Vanilla-Bean Cheesecake - I'm still oohing about this creamy and velvety cheesecake.
Best Alcoholic Drink:
Sunset Sangria - This is our go-to recipe whenever we're craving a tasty cup of sangria.
Best Cuban Recipe:
Ropa Vieja - One of my fave meals and using the pressure cooker helps tenderize the meat.
Best Filipino Dessert:
Banana Springrolls aka Turron - Something you need to make if you haven't tried it out already.
Best Cookie Marriage:
Cookies+Brownies = Brookies - This is so awesome that my cousin and I baked a couple batches for Christmas Eve dinner, too.
Best Vegetarian Meal:
Black Bean Sliders - Meatless Mondays gave me some interesting ideas for dinner, but this is one of my faves. I love the spicy sriracha sauce!
Best Food Truck Copycat Recipe:
Red Velvet Chocolate Chip Pancakes - Mmmmmm, absolutely delicious.
Best Cookie:
Alfajores - One of my fave holiday cookies that I have shared and baked for friends and family. It melts in your mouth!
