Cooking with Teaching Traci

Happy Monday!

Check out my first webisode with my wonderful blogging buddy at Teaching Traci. There is something wonderful about enjoying our mom’s home cooked meals, and sharing meals at the dinner table. It’s a simple tradition that we sometimes take for granted and don’t miss it until it’s taken away from us. Traci’s blog is dedicated in memory of her mother and it is her goal to learn to cook and uphold those treasured traditions with the help of family and friends.

I recently met Traci at the Food Styling and Photography workshop that I attended a couple weeks ago, and we instantly clicked from the first moment we had met. She asked me to collaborate and help her out on her blog. Traci came over to my house to learn how to make a Filipino sweet treat – Turron, Filipino banana eggrolls.

We laughed, we cooked, and we ate - that’s what cooking and blogging is all about!
